Animal lovers and dedicated dog-owners, the Bishop family have run a working farm and popular dog-friendly guest house at Tog Hill, just off the main commuter route between the cities of Bath and Bristol, for many years.
Recently they realised there was a need for an off-lead dog exercise space that could be easily accessed by the city-dwellers stuck in suburbia just a few miles away to the south (Bath) and east (Bristol) of their farm.
For the love of dogs, and as a useful facility to add to their guest house offering for visitors to the area, they decided to set aside a two-acre field on their farm, enclosed with a 1.8 metre-high fence, where dogs can run free while their owners enjoy the spectacular view.
The expansive Fetch Dog-Walking Field is now a haven for happy hounds who can safely and securely shake off the shackles of the city and relish unfettered freedom during a pre-booked private time slot.
It’s easy to book the Fetch Dog-Walking Field for your sole use for 50 minute slots.
We’re open daily, so just decide when you’d like to come along, and visit our online booking page. You can pick the option of bringing one or up to four dogs per session, and choose as many dates and time slots as you want from the availability calendar. Give us some details and then pay securely online.
When you arrive at the Fetch Field on your appointed day you’ll be able to drive straight onto the field and park, release your dog/s and make the most of the fully enclosed safe space.
If the weather’s bad your furry friend probably won’t be deterred, but you can seek shelter in a small mobile enclosure on site that is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. On fine days you can make use of a strategically placed picnic bench, keeping your eye on your canine companion and taking in the stunning view.
When your time’s up we ask that you clean up any dog waste, toys, balls or litter before you leave, and vacate the field promptly to make way for the next group.

You can rest assured that the booked time spent with your dogs at Fetch Dog-Walking Field will be exclusive and private. We are respectful of you and your need to spend precious time alone with your canine companions, particularly if they are sensitive, fearful or anxious around strangers.
We trust our dog walkers to come and go following our automated booking system without any interaction or interference being necessary on our part, but we also rely on you to let us know if you encounter any problems either with the field itself, the booking process or your allotted time slot.
